    • DDR3 Memory technology available for gaming systems and Workstations.
    • DDR3 memory modules provide increased performance by allowing the memory to run at speeds up to exceeding 2000MHz. That is twice as fast as the old DDR2 standard of 1066MHz.
    • Currently the only Workstation motherboard that supports DD3 is the ASUS P5E3.
    • Intel, Dell, nor HP currently has any Workstation class computers or motherboards. I expect Intel to release a Xeon class workstation with DDR3 support in 2009 and Dell and HP will follow.
