TOP 3 Problems

The following is a list of some known problems:
  • Mundo.Vundo Trojan - This is a malware type virus that effects the overall speed of your computer. Up to date Symantec Antivirus Version 10 or 11 (2006, 2007 or 2008) has been able to prevent the attack; however additional software (SpyNoMore) has been required twice to completely remove the Trojan and in once instance a complete format and reinstallation of Windows was required.
  • Heat - computers can suffer from heat related problems resulting in slow sluggish response to total system failure. Laptops are specifically prone to heat related problems. Solutions range from simply providing adequate ventilation to adding additional system fans.
  • e-Mail failures - AT&T and SBC e-Mail account holders using Outlook 2003 must upgrade to Service Pack 3 due to security requirements from the AT&T and SBC e-Mail servers. This is as simple as opening Outlook and then going to Help and Check for Updates. Follow the Microsoft web site instructions to install the latest updates for Outlook and any other Office product you have installed.
